According to the Center for Disease
Control (CDC), African-Americans
are reported to have HIV/AIDS
more than any other racial group. In
the City of Philadelphia 16,305
AIDS infections have been reported
from 1981 through June 30, 2003.
Of that total - 10,617 of those
infected are African-American -
which makes for 65 percent of
the infections. We must stop the
spread of this deadly disease! The
first step however, is for eveyone to
be tested...know your status...
